The entrance exam results for undergraduate medical courses were declared on Thursday night, June 2026, a few hours after the final answer key for the re-test was released.

Students who appeared for the exam can check their scorecards on the official testing agency portal or through the direct result link provided online.

Top Scores This Year

Two candidates secured the highest marks of 715 out of 720. They are from Punjab and Haryana.

 Why Was There A Re-Test?

The re-examination was conducted on June 21, 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM.

It was held after the earlier May 3 test, taken by over 20 lakh students, was cancelled due to reported irregularities and paper leak allegations.

How To Check NEET UG 2026 Scorecard

Follow these steps to download your result:

• Go to the official exam website

• Click on the “NEET UG 2026 Result” link on the homepage

• Enter your application number, date of birth and security code

• Submit and view your scorecard

• Download and take a printout for future use

Your OMR sheet and digital scorecard will also be available on the government’s DigiLocker platform for easy access later.

The agency stated the results were released on time to keep the medical admission and counselling schedule on track. The complete list of toppers, state-wise results, category cut-offs and language-wise data will be published on the official site soon.

The agency has a pattern of releasing results late in the evening. Previous years also saw announcements between 8:30 PM and 10:30 PM.
