NEET PG 2026 Results Announced: Check Merit List, Official Portal Link, and Category-Wise Cutoffs

The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has officially published the results and rank list for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET-PG) 2026. Candidates can view their qualification status online via the official website at nbe.edu.in.

The primary examination took place on August 30, with 2,63,544 doctors appearing nationwide. A re-test was conducted on September 5 for 2,416 candidates in Jaipur after a local power outage disrupted testing across two centers during the primary sitting. The newly published merit list incorporates candidates from both examination dates.

• Scorecard Access: Individual scorecards will be available for download starting October 1, 2026, and will remain accessible on the portal for six months.
• Recorded Responses & Answer Keys: From October 1 onward, candidates can log in to view question IDs, their recorded responses, correct answer keys, and question-by-question scoring.

Next Steps: State Quota & Counselling

Candidate qualifying status remains strictly provisional. Individual States and Union Territories will draw up independent merit and category rosters for 50% State Quota allocations based on local reservation rules and eligibility guidelines. Admissions remain contingent on formal document verification and subsequent counselling rounds.
