New Delhi Ferrari CEO Benedetto Vigna has confirmed that the Italian brand will bring two more new models by the end of 2026. He also hinted that biofuels could play a bigger role in Ferrari’s future. The update came during the company’s quarterly earnings call, after the successful rollout of the Ferrari Luce, which has already met its 2026 sales target. Electrification Isn’t The Only Path Vigna said that while electrification remains part of Ferrari’s long-term plan, cutting emissions won’t depend only on EVs. He revealed that Ferrari has already tested biofuels in its internal combustion engines. He didn’t share details about which fuels or engines were used. The statement suggests Ferrari is looking at multiple ways to go greener. This could help keep traditional petrol engines alive for longer alongside upcoming electric models. What’s Coming Next From Ferrari? Two launches are expected before December 2026: F80 Aperta Likely to be an open-top version of the F80 hybrid hypercar. It should keep the coupe’s 1,200hp hybrid powertrain and get a removable roof. Ferrari may use the ‘Aperta’ name or something similar. 12Cilindri Versione Speciale Expected to be a more track-focused version of the 12Cilindri V12 GT. If launched, it will be the second variant after the recently revealed 12Cilindri Manuale, which brought back the gated shifter feel with Ferrari’s new ‘Manuale by Wire’ system. Other Ferrari Updates The Luce faced criticism for not looking like a traditional Ferrari, but it’s selling well and order books are full. Ferrari has also been active in India.
