Young artist Baby Nakshatra is making her Telugu cinema debut with the film Irumudi. Directed by Shiva Nirvana, the movie arrives in theaters today, featuring Nakshatra in the key role of Manikanta, the daughter of lead actor Ravi Teja. Speaking with media representatives ahead of the release, the child artist shared her enthusiasm for entering Tollywood and revealed that she dubbed her own lines in Telugu. Hailing from Kerala, Nakshatra has previously acted in six feature films across Malayalam, Kannada, and Tamil. Director Shiva Nirvana discovered her through Instagram reels and contacted her mother to offer the role. Expressing her delight about working with Ravi Teja, she highlighted his warm demeanor on set and mentioned Vikramarkudu as her personal favorite among his films. She credited the ongoing support of her parents and teachers for allowing her to balance her education with her acting career.
