MAPUSA, (GOA) Actor Arjun Rampal and his partner, South African model Gabriella Demetriades, have officially registered their marriage in Goa. The legal formalities were completed on Friday afternoon at the Sub-Registrar’s Office in Mapusa, North Goa, in the presence of close friends. Sub-Registrar Suraj Vernekar confirmed that the registration was conducted under the Goa Uniform Civil Code. The couple, who reside in Succoro village near Panaji, arrived at the civil office around 4:00 PM for the proceedings. To expedite the process, the couple secured special authorization from the Assistant Public Prosecutor of the local court, waiving the standard mandatory 15-day waiting period between the first and second signatures required by law. Official marriage certificates are scheduled for issuance after 15 days. Rampal’s latest professional appearance was in the Honey Trehan-directed biographical drama Satluj, alongside Diljit Dosanjh.
