Akhilesh Yadav Accuses BJP of Misusing AI, Promises Scrapping of Degree College Semester System

Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav launched a sharp attack against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), alleging that the ruling party is driven by conservative, negative politics and is misusing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for destructive purposes. He asserted that the BJP is responsible for creating societal divisions, spreading animosity, and actively discriminating against madrasas.

Yadav assured that if the Samajwadi Party returns to power, madrasa infrastructure will be upgraded, pending salaries of teachers will be cleared, and religious institutions will be modernized. He also extended assurances to Sanskrit schools, promising welfare measures for Sanskrit teachers and formal recognition and honor for Shiksha Mitras as regular educators.

Outlining his party’s educational reforms, Yadav stated that a Samajwadi Party government would repeal the semester system recently introduced in degree colleges, while significantly improving government-run schools across Uttar Pradesh.

Further expanding on his governance roadmap, the SP leader promised welfare programs for advocates, contractual instructors (Anudeshaks), and Anganwadi workers. Taking aim at land acquisition policies, he labeled the BJP the “biggest land-mafia party,” accusing it of shortchanging farmers during compensation payouts. He pledged that a future Samajwadi government would ensure farmers receive compensation well above prevailing circle rates for their acquired land.
