In a video address, BJP leadership requested individuals to join the initiative by lighting an “Aashirwad ka Diya” between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM on September 17. Marking Modi’s 76th birthday alongside a quarter-century of continuous public leadership—spanning his tenure as Gujarat Chief Minister and as Prime Minister—the party has organized a month-long welfare and service program named the “Seva Sankalp Abhiyan.” Core Components of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan Civic Engagement: Organizing grassroots community events, cleanliness drives, and blood donation camps across districts. Welfare Expansion: Extending basic healthcare coverage, social security enrollments, and aid distribution to underserved communities. Youth & Women Initiatives: Hosting career workshops, educational aid distribution, and sports meets focused on empowering younger generations and female entrepreneurs. The party noted that Modi’s administration has operated under the core principle of national development through direct civic service.
