“Satheesan Keeps His Word, But Must Watch His Ministers”: Senior Leader G. Sudhakaran

Alappuzha (Kerala): Senior political leader G. Sudhakaran praised V.D. Satheesan’s leadership style, describing him as a decisive leader who stands firmly by his word, while advising him to exercise caution regarding fellow cabinet colleagues.

Speaking on Satheesan’s functioning, Sudhakaran stated that Satheesan’s core strength lies in honoring his commitments without wavering. He noted that Satheesan expresses his views openly under any circumstances and does not hesitate to make course corrections if convinced an error has occurred, highlighting a clean track record thus far.

Addressing the ministerial team, Sudhakaran clarified that he was not leveling blanket allegations against everyone, but stressed that vigilance remains essential given public perception. While acknowledging that the ministers have not engaged in wrongdoing, he remarked that strict oversight is necessary to maintain administrative integrity.

Expressing confidence in stable governance under healthy leadership, Sudhakaran highlighted his longstanding personal rapport with Satheesan, adding that he expects full support for the developmental needs of his constituency. Reflecting on his visit to the state Secretariat, Sudhakaran shared that this marked his first visit to the administrative headquarters in 20 years while not holding a ministerial portfolio, adding that he was pleased to meet Satheesan.
