Royal Enfield has expanded its big-twin lineup with the official debut of the Continental GT 750 at EICMA 2026. Built on the brand’s newly developed multi-cylinder architecture alongside the Himalayan 750, the latest cafe racer now stands as the most powerful motorcycle in the company’s production history.

The Continental GT 750 arrives in two distinct variants designed to cater to different riding preferences and aesthetics:

  • Faired Variant: Showcasing a front fairing and competition-inspired side number boards, this edition adopts a retro road-racing design. It features lowered, aggressive clip-on handlebars tailored for an aerodynamic, committed riding stance.
  • Standard (Non-Faired) Variant: Carrying forward the classic styling of the Continental GT 650, this model retains standard side panels and slightly higher clip-on handlebars for a more upright, commuter-friendly posture.

Engine and Performance

At the heart of the new GT is a 743cc, SOHC, oil-cooled parallel-twin engine shared with the Himalayan 750 platform. For the Continental GT 750, Royal Enfield has re-tuned the motor to deliver a sportier, higher power output. Unlike the Himalayan 750, which includes ride-by-wire modes and cruise control, the GT 750 utilizes a conventional mechanical twin-throttle-body setup (one for each cylinder) for direct, analog throttle response.

Hardware and Cycle Parts

  • Suspension: Right-side-up (RSU) front telescopic forks with rebound adjustability, paired with twin shock absorbers at the rear.
  • Braking: Dual front disc brakes and a rear disc setup managed by dual-channel ABS.
  • Wheels and Tyres: 18-inch wire-spoke wheels with tubed tyres on base trims; alloy wheels with tubeless tyres on select variants.
  • Styling Options: Dual exhaust pipes, a solo seat with a rear cowl, bar-end mirrors, and optional blacked-out engine and exhaust treatments.
