Karnataka PGCET Final Round: Option Entry Starts October 31

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the commencement of the final counselling round for Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET) aspirants seeking admission to MBA, MCA, and MTech programmes. The registration and fresh option-entry window opens on October 31 and will conclude at 2:00 PM on November 4.

According to KEA Executive Director H. Prasanna, this additional counselling phase is being conducted in compliance with directives from the Supreme Court. The provisional seat allotment results will be declared after 1:00 PM on November 5.

• Caution Deposit: Candidates intending to participate in this final seat allocation round must deposit the prescribed caution fee between October 31 and November 3 to become eligible for choice filling.
• Option Entry: Eligible candidates can submit their preferred colleges and courses in order of priority until the 2:00 PM deadline on November 4.
• Special Provision for Earlier Allotments: Candidates who selected options between October 13 and October 15 but failed to report to their allotted institutions have been granted a final window to remit fees and secure formal admission by 6:00 PM on October 31. KEA clarified that these candidates must finalize their current admission first if they wish to participate in the final round for a potential seat upgrade.
