Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) has introduced the refreshed Toyota Glanza in India, starting at an introductory price of ₹6.99 lakh (ex-showroom). The updated premium hatchback receives a major overhaul, incorporating Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), a new-generation powertrain, a segment-first CNG-AMT combination, and upgraded cabin amenities. Bookings open on October 15 for a token amount of ₹11,000, with customer deliveries slated to commence in the first week of November. New Powertrain and Efficiency The refreshed Glanza is equipped with a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder Z12E petrol engine producing 61 kW (approx. 82 bhp) and 112.4 Nm of torque. In factory-fitted CNG mode, the engine delivers 51.3 kW (approx. 69 bhp) and 101.8 Nm of torque. A notable mechanical update is the addition of an Automated Manual Transmission (AMT) option for the CNG variants alongside the manual gearbox. According to manufacturer testing, the petrol manual variant delivers an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 23.80 km/l, while the petrol AMT variant delivers 24.77 km/l. Design and Cabin Upgrades Drawing inspiration from Toyota’s international design styling, the hatchback gets a redesigned front grille, revised front bumper, and sporty side skirts. Warranty and Colour Choices Toyota backs the updated Glanza with a 3-year or 1,00,000 km standard warranty, extendable up to 5 years or 2,20,000 km. Ownership services include 60-minute express maintenance and round-the-clock roadside assistance.
