Bhopal — The Madhya Pradesh government carried out a major administrative reshuffle on Friday night following the appointment of Ashok Barnwal as the new Chief Secretary. The reshuffle was done in consultation with CM Mohan Yadav. A total of 20 IAS officers were given new responsibilities. Key Appointments 1. Global Investors Summit & Industry Neeraj Mandloi, Additional Chief Secretary to CM, has been given additional charge of organising the Global Investors Summit 2027. He will also head the Industry and MSME Departments, taking over from Raghvendra Singh. 2. Forest, Water Resources & NVDA Raghvendra Singh shifted as Principal Secretary, Forest Department. Sandeep Yadav moved to Principal Secretary, Water Resources Department and will handle the crucial Ken-Betwa and Parvati-Kalisindh Projects. E Ramesh Kumar given charge of Narmada Valley Development Authority (NVDA) along with Revenue. Both Yadav and Kumar replace Dr Rajesh Rajora, who has been appointed Director General, RCPV Naronha Academy of Administration and Management. 3. Health, PWD & Energy. Sukhveer Singh, Principal Secretary PWD, given additional charge of Health & Family Welfare and Medical Education – departments earlier handled by Barnwal. Manish Singh (Senior), Principal Secretary, will now head the Energy Department. Sachin Sinha, earlier DG of RCPV Naronha Academy, posted as ACS, Public Health Engineering Department. 4. CM Secretariat & Other Key Posts Sudam Khade, Indore Division Commissioner, posted as Secretary in CM Secretariat. Kumar Purushottam appointed Deputy Secretary in CMO, in addition to Mandi Board responsibilities. Bhaskar Lakshyakar named new Divisional Commissioner, Indore. John Kingsley AR moved as Secretary, Industrial Policy & Investment Promotion with additional charge of MSME. KC Gupta given charge of Horticulture along with Agriculture Production Commissioner (APC). 5. Collector & District-Level Transfers Ajay Katesaria, Dy Secretary GAD, posted as Collector, Ratlam. Cited for key role in promotion rules and UCC implementation. Ratnakar Jha, Additional Commissioner Ujjain, posted as Collector, Anuppur in place of Harshal Pancholi, now Executive Director, EPCO Bhopal. Misha Singh appointed Collector, Ratlam, replacing Kedar Singh, who moves as Additional Secretary, PWD Bhopal. Divyank Singh named Collector, Mandsaur, replacing Aditi Garg, now Commissioner, Food & Civil Supplies, Bhopal. Guru Prasad posted as Collector, Khargone. Sher Singh Meena posted as Collector, Agar Malwa, replacing Priti Yadav, now Executive Director, MP Audyogik Vikas Nigam, Indore. Himanshu Prajapati appointed CEO, District Panchayat Indore, replacing Siddharth Jain, now Deputy Secretary in Chief Secretary’s Office.
