Islamabad — Iranian Interior Minister Eskandar Momeni arrived in Pakistan on Monday for high-level talks, amid rising military confrontation between Iran and the US. He was received by Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who had invited him. Calling it a significant visit, Naqvi said Momeni had brought “good news” and the trip would help strengthen bilateral ties. According to Iran’s official IRNA news agency, the visit aims to “boost cooperation between the two nations”.
