The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially issued the provisional answer key alongside candidate response sheets for the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL) 2026 Tier 1. Aspirants who took the test can review and download their documents from the official portal at ssc.gov.in by logging in with their registration credentials.

The SSC CGL Tier 1 exam was organized in computer-based mode from September 30 to October 28, 2026, across various exam centres nationwide.

Key Dates and Objection Fee

  • Objection Portal Opens: November 4, 2026, at 9:00 PM
  • Objection Portal Closes: November 7, 2026, at 9:00 PM
  • Challenge Fee: ₹50 per challenged question or answer

The commission stated that any objection received past the cutoff time or submitted through offline channels, post, or non-designated modes will be summarily rejected.

Important Note on Question Paper Sequence

The SSC highlighted that the sequence of questions and option choices presented in the objection window may not match the exact order seen during the examination. This difference exists because question sequences within the challenge module are uniformly standardized for every shift, whereas question order was randomized during the actual test. Nevertheless, each candidate’s selected responses are recorded and displayed accurately.

Aspirants are encouraged to consult the Challenge/Objection Management System guidelines detailed in the commission’s April 10, 2026 notice for standard procedures.
