PM Kisan 18th Installment Release: Complete e-KYC Immediately to Receive ₹2,000 Payment

Eligible farmers across India are set to receive the next financial installment under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme today, October 30. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will disburse the funds from Gujarat, transferring the financial aid directly to the bank accounts of over 9.34 crore registered farmers.

Under this welfare initiative, eligible landholding farming families receive an annual support of ₹6,000, distributed in three equal installments of ₹2,000 every four months through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Mandatory Requirement: Complete e-KYC to Avoid Payment Delays

Meeting the core eligibility criteria alone will not guarantee the disbursement if verification records remain incomplete. The government has mandated e-KYC verification for all PM-KISAN beneficiaries. Payments will remain on hold for anyone who has not finalized this process.

Farmers can complete their e-KYC using any of the following methods:

• OTP-Based Verification: Complete online via the official PM-KISAN portal or mobile application using the mobile number linked to Aadhaar.
• Biometric Verification: Visit the nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) to authenticate biometrically.
• Face Authentication: Download the official PM-KISAN mobile app to complete verification using facial recognition.

Who Is Ineligible for This Installment?

Certain ownership and household criteria apply to this payout:

• Land Purchase Cut-Off: Farmers who acquired agricultural land after February 1, 2019, are not eligible for benefits under this scheme.
• Single Beneficiary Per Family: Only one member per eligible agricultural family can receive the benefit. Multiple members from the same household cannot draw separate payouts.
