OnePlus has officially revealed key specifications for its upcoming flagship, the OnePlus 16, ahead of its scheduled debut in China on October 12. According to OnePlus executive Li Jie Louis via Weibo, the OnePlus 16 will feature a substantial 9,000mAh battery. This marks a notable 1,700mAh increase over the 7,300mAh cell found in the previous generation OnePlus 15. The increased capacity, paired with Qualcomm’s more efficient Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6 platform, aims to deliver major endurance improvements. Alongside the larger pack, the device retains 50W wireless charging support. Earlier disclosures confirmed additional high-end hardware for the flagship: Display: 185Hz maximum refresh rate panel running at a 165Hz system-wide standard.
