The Indian Rupee strengthened by 26 paise to trade at 94.96 against the US Dollar in opening deals on Tuesday, extending its recovery on strong near-term technical support. Currency traders noted that the domestic unit continues to find a solid base in the 95.10–95.20 range against the greenback.

At the interbank foreign exchange, the rupee initiated the session at 95.06 before building upward momentum to reach 94.96, posting a gain of 26 paise over its prior close. In the previous trading session on Monday, the rupee had rebounded from early losses to finish 21 paise higher at 95.22 per dollar.
