Honor has officially unveiled the Robot Phone in China, introducing an unconventional mechanical design that transforms the primary rear sensor into an independently moving piece of hardware. Built for mobile filmmakers and high-end content creators, the flagship combines physical robotics with advanced AI tracking and cinema-grade imaging.

Motorized Gimbal System and AI Features

Instead of using standard optical stabilization housed within a fixed module, the Robot Phone employs a motorized titanium gimbal made of over 100 micro-components. The sensor physically elevates and pivots to deliver smooth stabilization, automated subject tracking, and hands-free recording.

Integrated with the device’s YOYO Robot mode, the motorized lens can physically react to users—nodding, swiveling, responding to voice commands, or moving in sync with music. The collaboration with legendary camera maker ARRI marks the brand’s first mobile project, providing professional-grade color profiles and post-production control directly on the smartphone.

Pricing and Global Availability

The Honor Robot Phone is currently exclusive to the Chinese domestic market, with pre-orders having opened following its Guangzhou debut.
