BSNL Rolls Out ‘Fiber Freedom Plan’ at ₹1,111 Featuring 200 Mbps Speed and 25+ OTT Platforms

State-run telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) has introduced a new broadband package called the Fiber Freedom Plan as part of its Independence Day lineup. Designed as an all-in-one connectivity and entertainment bundle, the new plan combines high-speed fiber internet with access to multiple streaming services under a single subscription.

Key Plan Details and Benefits

• Special Pricing: Launched at an introductory price of ₹1,111 per month.
• High-Speed Data: Offers internet speeds of up to 200 Mbps with a monthly data cap of 5,000 GB.
• Streaming Bundles: Includes access to over 25 premium OTT services, though BSNL has not yet revealed the specific lineup of streaming partners.
• Unlimited Connectivity: Combines high-bandwidth broadband with digital content streaming in one monthly package.

Note: BSNL has not specified the duration for which the promotional ₹1,111 pricing will remain active.

Upgraded ‘BSNL Selfcare New’ App Launched

Alongside the broadband plan, BSNL has refreshed its mobile self-service application, re-launching it as “BSNL Selfcare New” on both iOS and Android platforms.

The updated application provides a range of features, including:

• Account Management: Easy prepaid recharges, bill payments for postpaid and landline services, and multiple-account handling.
• Customer Support: In-app complaint registration, service tracking, and integrated AI chatbot support with voice navigation.
• Additional Features: DND settings management, payment history logs, new fiber connection requests, and access to BSNL Entertainment TV.

In addition to these digital rollouts, BSNL confirmed that orders have been placed for over 26,300 additional 4G BTS tower sites to strengthen its network infrastructure.
